Annie and Sam’s last child was born 2 days after the incident.
Annie Mc Garry only lived a few more years.
All 14 children still living [1 had died – Rachel; Bridget died
after Annie] were orphaned by this stage.

youngest child was 14. Bridget
must have still been alive at this stage.
She must have died after this.
Where did Sam live between this date and his marriage?
The dates fit with Sarah’s marriage to a Thomas Dalrymple in 1902].
All
of the rest of Annie McGarry’s children stuck together in a close knit
group enabling their survival with Ellen as the head.
The only one who married and this was discouraged was my
grandfather Henry or Harry Palmer.
